Salazar Construction LLC scores 51 out of 100, below the Spokane Roofing median of 68. Biggest gap: Google Business Profile, 0 of 15 points.
What to fix first, and why
Salazar Construction LLC has no Google Business Profile — and that one gap explains everything. The map pack is where most local roofing searches end, and without a profile the business simply doesn't appear there, on any of the searches we track. The site itself loads past Google's poor threshold on a phone, which compounds the problem: visitors who do find it through web results leave before the page finishes. One clear strength — the title and meta description both name Spokane, so Google reads the city signal correctly. The first fix is straightforward: claim or create a profile at business.google.com and complete the verification step.

Fix first3
No Google Business Profile found.
The fix: Claim or create a Google Business Profile at business.google.com. Verify by postcard or phone.
Why it matters · for your developerFor your developer
Without a profile there's no map listing, and most local searches end on the map. This is the biggest single gap a local business can have.
Google Business Profile. No Google Business Profile found: Without a GBP, the business cannot appear in the local pack — the single biggest local-SEO miss.
The site's structured data doesn't describe a local business.
The fix: Add a LocalBusiness or category-specific subtype (Restaurant, Dentist, etc.) entity with full NAP.
Why it matters · for your developerFor your developer
LocalBusiness structured data spells out the hours, services and service area for Google. Without it, Google leans on the listings that do.
Business info for Google. No LocalBusiness schema: JSON-LD is present but no LocalBusiness (or subtype) entity is declared. Local pack ranking relies on this.
The site is slow on a phone.
The fix: Compress images, defer non-critical JS, and serve from a CDN. Focus on Largest Contentful Paint.
Why it matters · for your developerFor your developer
Most local searches happen on phones. A slow load loses visitors before the page appears.
Speed & Google checklist. Slow mobile performance: Mobile performance score is 46/100. Google uses mobile speed as a ranking factor.

No robots.txt file.
The fix: Add a /robots.txt file. At minimum, include the line 'Sitemap: <your sitemap URL>'.
Why it matters · for your developer
Crawlers look for it first, and it's where the sitemap is announced. Without it, Google can miss pages.
Crawlability. No robots.txt file: Search engines look for /robots.txt to discover sitemap location and crawl directives.
When there's time1
1 of 8 images on the homepage has no text description.
The fix: Add descriptive alt text to content images. Use empty alt='' only for decorative images.
Why it matters · for your developer
Alt text feeds image search and screen readers. The missing ones are reach left on the table.
Page basics. 1 of 8 images missing alt text: Alt text helps both accessibility and image search ranking.
